Bricks and their types - Building Materials
A Brick is a block of dried clay used in the construction of walls, buildings, and other types of infrastructure. There are five common types of bricks:-
1. Burnt Clay Bricks -
They are the oldest and most widely used construction material. They have good resistance to moisture, insects, and erosion. According to their respective qualities and uses, these bricks are further divided into four types: first class, second class, third class & fourth class bricks.
2. Sand Lime Bricks -
offer excellent strength
3. Engineering Bricks -
offer excellent load-bearing capacity
4. Concrete Bricks -
Provides excellent aesthetic presence
